My family is big on tradition. Every year we have the same routine for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This year we will be adding a new tradition with Gourmet Gift Baskets.I'll be waking up early in the am, while everyone is still asleep, and start making breakfast with all
of the yummy items from my Christmas Morning Breakfast Gift Basket. Usually Christmas morning is a big blur and I'll grab anything quick to fill their tummies, so this is going to be a bit of a surprise. I'll let them sleep in and wake up when they are ready. They will wake up to a nice, harty breakfast and we will sit down as a family, while still in our pajamas and eat breakfast together before opening gifts. Moments like that are what it's all about. Just to be with the kids and my husband enjoying those couple hours alone, before we have to head out the door and go from house to house.
If your interested in starting this little tradition with your family, or would at the least like to here more about it, I'll give you some details.
The gift basket comes packaged in a durable, reusable wooden cutting board and stocked with things like Maine's freshest, wildest blueberries, sweet Grade-A maple syrup, and hickory smoked ham slices, making it easy to create a breakfast almost as special as the morning itself.
