Shark Rotator Powered Speed Lift Away

You may have noticed from my past reviews that I love Shark products. I've had the opportunity to try out several over the past few months and I've never been disapointed. I recently received the Shark Rotator Powered Speed Lift Away vacuum.  It's a 3 in 1 vacuum that I already had high expectations for, due to other reviews I had read, but this vacuum far exceeded my expectations. I'm in a Facebook cleaning group called LLS (Laundry,Love & Science). Its a place where people share cleaning tips etc. For months I saw women talking about this vacuum. According to them it was a "must have" item. I now understand why.

Sharks advanced steering technology provides excellent control when maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles that stand in your way. My living room is small and crammed full of furniture, shelves, toys and play areas. Being able to maneuver around them when I'm in a hurry has been such a time saver. I'm able to get through each room in a breeze.

You can also navigate dark corners and underneath the furniture with LED lights in the nozzle of the vacuum. You will be amazed at how much dirt and dust you have been missing. This is one of my favorite features. Every time the lights pointed under a table, I was disgusted by the amount of dust my other vacuum had missed.
The fingertip controls on the handle allow you to switch effortlessly from carpet to bare floors and back again. There is also a button below which allows you to transform the vacuum from an upright into a portable canister without losing the power of the motor.

Groupon Coupons

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

I'm all about saving money. Whether I need to save up for the holidays, a birthday or just because we are short on money at the time, saving just a few dollars here and there definitely makes a difference.  I'm not one of these couponaholics you see on t.v, the ones who somehow get a thousand dollars worth of groceries while managing to get the store to owe them money back. I'm no where near that point, but I have been able to start saving money buy using Groupon Coupons. If you haven't yet heard of Groupon your missing out on great money saving deals. Groupon offers a vast mobile and online marketplace where people discover and save on amazing things to do, see, eat and buy. By enabling real-time commerce across local buisnesses, travel destinations, consumer products and live events, shoppers can find the best a city has to offer with Groupon.

What separates Groupon from other coupon sites is the fact that you can find coupons for almost anything your looking for. There's no need in looking on multiple sites for your hotel, then another site to find attractions and another for dining. Groupon offers all of them. Saving you time and money. One of my favorites so far has been the JCPenney coupons. JCPenney's already has some good deals so adding coupons for 30% off ( and more) makes it even sweeter. My boys are growing at the speed of light (or so it seems) so keeping them clothed usually costs me a fortune. Now that I have Groupon I'm able to get even more clothing at a fraction of the cost. Check out the links below and try it out for yourself.

Some of my favorite places you can save money at by using Groupon Coupons is :
-Best Buy
-Sam's Club
-Office Depot

Minions Birthday Party

For Logans 9th birthday we decided to go with the Minions theme. Its something he enjoys and thankfully is very easy to find. Since we didnt want to have to worry about the weather with an outside party we decided on having the party in the board room at our local Comfort Suites hotel. The room wasnt huge but it was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably.  I searched on Pinterest for months to come up with some fun, unique ideas for decor. My favorite piece of decor is the tall Minion my mother in law made. It was definitely one of the most talked about pieces. She used a cardboard box that she picked up from the local Wal-Mart for free. She used
yellow wrapping paper, black construction paper and a blue poster board. The huge googly eyes came from Hobby Lobby.

I wanted to do something fun for centerpieces so I got some Bucket Containers from Oriental Trading. They look like paint cans and come in a set of 6 ( so i ordered 2 sets). Since Easter had just passed I was able to get bags of jelly beans for 50% off and used those to fill the containers. I got some cute chalk board labels from Hobby Lobby and wrote "Thanks for coming to Logans 9th Birthday" and put small minions stickers on each side. These made amazing center pieces and treats for the kids as they left. I also got a lot of the things I needed for the treat bags from Oriental Trading. I didn't want the bags to be filled with junky little toys that get thrown away as soon as you walk out the door. So i got a 16 pack of the Shimmering Binoculars, one pack of a dozen Magnifying Glasses (only $3.99) and a dozen of Whistles (sorry parents). Ofcourse we also had to have the paper Minion goggles which i got from the local Dollar General.

I was able to find all of my Minion Theme table covers, dinner and dessert plates, napkins and balloons from Birthday Express. We also got a Pinata from there which i filled with small party favors I got from Wal-Mart, and ofcourse the adorable Minion Cupcake Stand and Minion baking cups.

The Minion lemonade stand was an idea we found on Pinterest. We used card stock paper to cut out some goggles and glue it on.

Another cute idea we found on Pinterest was Minion juice boxes. I used the Hi C juice (2 of the 10 count boxes for $4 at Food City). You can use card stock paper, or maybe even regular construction paper may even work, get some small googly eyes from the Dollar Tree and black yarn for the hair.

Last but certainly not least was the hand made birthday banner. Although I wish I could, I cant take credit for this masterpiece. My mother in law found the idea on Pinterest and decided to make it. Its made completely with card stock paper and a piece of yarn to tie it all together. In my opinion, this birthday sign is so much nicer than the ones you buy in store, and its something I can keep and add to my sons memory box.

All in all the party was a huge success. We had a lot of family and friends come celebrate Logans 9th birthday with us. I'd like to thank everyone for sharing the day with us, and a big thanks to Birthday Express and Oriental Trading for the amazing products and being apart of my little mans day.
