Purell Advanced Sanitizer

Its that time of year again when we send our kids back to school. Back to where pick up every bug going around. A place where germs are unavoidable. Schools are one of the germiest places there is. Wether its the water fountains, door knobs or just sharing pencils, germs are everywhere. Not to mention its almost Cold and Flu season so thats even more to worry about. Send your kids prepared this school year. Send them with a bottle of Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer or wipes. Its never to early to teach kids the importance of good hand hygiene.
I insist on having hand sanitizer with me at all times. A bottle or three in the house, the car, diaper bag and my purse.
My main priority is keeping my kids safe and healthy, and since its not possible to keep them in a germ free bubble ( I totally would if I could) the next best thing is teaching them, and those close to us good hand hygiene. That's where Purell Sanitizer comes into the picture.
Health experts have reported that more than 80 percent of illnesses can be transmitted by the hands. We all live busy lives and sometimes soap and water are not available, for those moments, an alcohol based hand sanitizer or hand sanitizing wipes like Purell Advanced are effective at helping to reduce the spread of germs.
There is ample scientific evidence that ethanol alcohol as a skin care active ingredient can easily inactivate enveloped viruses ( such as Ebola ) when formulated well and used appropriately.
Purell Advantage kills 99.99 percent of germs and is trusted by more leading hospitals than any other brand.

Tips for Practicing Good Hand Hygiene:

-Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and if soap and water is not available, use and alcohol based hand rub
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
-Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as toys and doorknobs.

When should I wash and sanitize my hands?

-Before eating
-Before and after preparing food
-Before and after caring for someone that is sick or around someone who is ill.
-After using the bathroom
-After sneezing or coughing
-After touching anything in a high traffic area that may have been touched by many different hands, such as grocery cart handles, counter tops, handrails etc,

How to correctly wash and sanitize hands

Handwashing: The entire handwashing process should take atleast 20 seconds, A good procedure is to wet hands with water, apply enough soap to create a lather to cover all hand surfaces, rub hands palm to palm and carefully scrub fingers, back and front of hands and each thumb. Rinse hands with water and gently dry hands with a clean paper towel.
